In accordance with Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services’
recommendations designed to prevent the spread of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and Executive order 2020-15
declaring public bodies subject to Open Meetings Act can use telephone or video conferencing to meet and conduct
business, the City of Niles Downtown Development Authority Main Street Board of Directors will hold such a virtual
meeting at 6:30 pm on Monday, April 19, 2021 for the purpose of conducting DDA Main Street business while
complying with the Governor’s Executive Orders related to COVID-19. For current up-to-date information about

The following are the procedures by which persons may contact members of the public body to provide

BOARD APPLICATIONS -1 opening. Paul Klimson, Luigi Alberganti and Elizabeth Bradford have been approved by the Appointment
Committee and will likely be officially appointed to the board at the April 26th Council meeting. Melanie Kennedy and
Stephanie Reno also submitted applications and have been asked by Mayor to join a Committee, regularly attend
DDA meetings for a period of 3 months and view sessions a Small Business Day which will be available for 1 year.
Both gotten involved with Third Thursday and have links to the Small Business Day at the National Conference.
